Sanctuaire « L’Espoir Continue »

Animaux-Secours, its founder Ms Vogler, and its current president Mr Gaconnet, have long had the ambition of opening a second structure to better meet the specific needs of certain residents of the shelter.

Following Madame Morell’s bequest, our association became the owner of a farmhouse in La Chapelle-Saint-Sauveur. The sale of this building (in very poor condition) facilitated the hoped-for acquisition: a former dairy located in the friendly and welcoming village of Bantanges, in Saône-et-Loire.

At the beginning of 2021, Animaux Secours became the owner and has since been working on its somewhat atypical layout.

Our goals

The “Rescue Animals – Hope Continues” structure meets three objectives:

Retirement house

A place for our retirees to live together in semi-freedom in their “XXL house”, and benefit from the daily attention of their advisors (Animal Rescue staff) and volunteers who come to lend a helping hand.

The Physical and Behavioral Rehabilitation Center

In parallel with the retirement home, Animaux Secours takes advantage of this second structure to offer an additional service: A physical and behavioral rehabilitation center.

The educational component

Welcoming volunteers aims to meet two goals: to allow better care of our residents of course; but also discuss the animal cause, raise awareness among the public and particularly among young people (12-17 years old).
